Free Cyber Hygiene Services
Most organizations want to ensure that their networks and systems are secure. One useful tool is a vulnerability scan. This involves use of automated tools to identify, analyze, and report on security flaws and risk exposures across an organization’s networks, hardware, software, and systems. Some IT vendors provide vulnerability scans and other system monitoring as part of their managed service to clients, while others do not. For those organizations that need it, a government program offers assistance with cyber hygiene.
The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has launched a cyber hygiene service program. Enrollment is free, and services include vulnerability scans and web application scanning. These services help to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, so that they can be addressed.
